Job Title: Engineering Technician V

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of technical expertise and leadership skills. As an Engineering Technician V, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, overhauling, troubleshooting, modifying, constructing, and testing electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment and related devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply technical knowledge of electronics principles to put equipment in operational condition and solve complex problems.
  • Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions using specialized test and diagnostic equipment.
  • Modify circuitry to improve performance.
  • Make recommendations for improvements or modifications to correct problems.
  • Provide operation and maintenance instruction to customer personnel.
  • Prepare operating and malfunction reports and related documentation.
  • Work with engineering staff to determine and solve equipment design problems.
  • Perform quality assurance testing of assemblies and equipment fabricated by other technicians.
  • Provide work leadership to less-experienced technicians, and may have supervisory responsibility.
  • Participate in special projects, as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associates of Arts/Associates of Science.
  • Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience.
  • Security Clearance Level: None.
  • Location: Customer Site.
  • US Citizenship Required.
