  • Assist with special events and catering services, as needed, to provide exceptional service to students, faculty, and staff.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in food service operations and customer service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous food service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, as needed.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, as needed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff, in a professional and courteous manner.
Working Conditions

The Food Service Worker will work in a fast-paced food service environment, with exposure to changing temperatures, slippery floors, and bacteria in foods. The employee will be required to wear slip-resistant shoes and properly positioned hair restraints at all times, and to follow all food safety procedures.
