Job Summary

The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing an inventory plan for a portfolio of items based on demand, actual orders, network lead times, and available inventory.

This role will involve defining the appropriate inventory levels and associated required capacity to optimize service, working capital, and costs.

The Supply Chain Coordinator will work closely with demand planning, channel partners, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure inventory is managed according to constraints and meets internal targets aligned with the business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop inventory plans utilizing current demand inputs
  • Manage purchase orders, monitor shipments, and deliveries to all DCs
  • Optimize inbound shipments by DC, considering capacity constraints for all facilities
  • Monitor and track inventory levels, service levels, surplus/obsolete inventory, vendor performance, and other relevant KPIs
  • Analyze and manage supply chain master data elements impacting the supply plan
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide regular updates on inventory projections
  • Escalate issues that impact in-stock levels and customer service to leadership
  • Coordinate with demand planning, deployment, transportation, warehousing, and customer service teams to address changes to the supply plan
  • Initiate and lead process improvement projects to drive better efficiencies and optimize inventory levels
  • Manage DC to DC transfers as needed to balance inventory within the network
