About the Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Salon Manager to join our team at Great Clips. As an Assistant Salon Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Salon Manager in achieving business goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Salon Manager in overseeing daily salon operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer retention.
- Collaborate with the Salon Manager to create and execute business plans, including marketing initiatives and promotions.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of stylists and support staff.
- Monitor and maintain salon cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
- Manage salon inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining accurate records.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as payroll, scheduling, and customer communication.
Requirements:
- Cosmetology and/or barber license (licensing requirements vary by state/province)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership and management experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
