Position Summary:
We are currently in search of a Facilities Maintenance Associate, Level 1 to support our daily operational needs, ensuring timely maintenance of our facilities and assisting in the resolution of operational challenges as they arise. This role involves performing routine repairs and overseeing the completion of preventative maintenance tasks. Additionally, the position requires tracking and addressing assigned facility requests within designated timeframes. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting routine building maintenance and repairs, including waste disposal and office furniture assembly.
  • Ensuring that assigned facility requests are fulfilled in accordance with Lakeshore's quality standards.
  • Maintaining a safe and effective working environment.
  • Providing exceptional service to our partners and guests.
  • Coordinating vendor work as needed.
  • Running local errands, collecting mail, and managing invoices.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems is advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license required (driving record may be requested).
  • Availability to work weekends as necessary.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Outlook.
  • Experience operating a bobtail vehicle and forklift.
  • Capability to lift up to 30 pounds.
