Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages with varying acuity levels.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans that integrate with the continuum of care and have specific goals and objectives.
  • Assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
  • Re-evaluate and modify treatment plans and goals when appropriate, and prepare written documentation as required by the department and the care team.
  • Recognize and communicate when the patient has received optimal benefit from speech therapy.
  • Ensure accurate billing and maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in speech/language pathology from an approved program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence or active engagement and successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year requirements.
  • Current license in the State of Florida.
  • Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider Certification.
