Teaching Opportunity at Arizona College of Nursing

We are seeking a qualified nursing professional to join our team as a part-time/adjunct Women's Health Didactic Nursing Faculty at our Cleveland, OH BSN campus.

About the Role

This is an on-site, in-person teaching opportunity that will pay $2k per credit hour and will start to teach on or after January 1, 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and evaluating students in the classroom, designing an effective learner environment, and supporting students' progression in academics and socialization into the role of nursing.

Responsibilities
  • Teach and evaluate students in the classroom
  • Design an effective learner environment that facilitates student learning
  • Support students' progression in academics and socialization into the role of nursing
  • Utilize an array of assessment tools to evaluate student learning
  • Actively participate in systematic plan for curriculum design, program evaluation, and program revision
  • Work with Course Lead Faculty to develop student success plans and remediate at-risk students
Requirements
  • Graduate degree required (Master's or higher)
  • A minimum of three (3) years experience as a professional registered nurse providing direct patient care
  • Previous experience teaching in a registered nursing program at a college or university is required
  • Holds a current unencumbered state professional registered nurse license or enhance compact nurse licensure relevant to the state of teaching location
  • Certified Nurse Educator certification and national certification in area of nursing specialty is preferred
