Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Care Professional to join our Inpatient Float Pool team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct care to assigned patients and assume relief charge duties when designated.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients as required.
  • Work within Hospitals, Nursing division and departmental policies.
  • Implement and document individualized care plans incorporating age-specific considerations, including discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
  • Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent has been obtained.
Requirements:
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days
  • RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Working Conditions:

This is a heavy work position that requires exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people.

Please note that working with bio-hazardous materials requires personal protective equipment (PPE).

About Our Offer

As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
