Qualifications:

Essential Skills:
- Current state licensure as required

CPR Certification
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

- Graduation from an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program

- A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred

Additional Skills:
- Proficient understanding of radiology principles, procedures, and standards, including safe exposure times

- Familiarity with the operational characteristics of radiologic equipment

- Knowledge of clinical operations

- Ability to calibrate and adjust equipment according to established protocols

- Competence in observing, assessing, and documenting patient symptoms and reactions

Demonstrates proficiency in computer skills:
- Data entry, word processing, and record management

- Strong organizational and time management abilities

- Effective written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to maintain quality and safety standards

- Capacity to work collaboratively and professionally with colleagues

Key Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, operate radiology equipment to assist the Radiologist in diagnosing medical conditions.

May prepare and administer various radiologic medications as necessary for the procedures performed.

Integrate the hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily practice.
