Job Title: Travel Ultrasound Technologist

CrossMed Allied is seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Newburgh, Indiana.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, reporting outcomes to healthcare teams.
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on ultrasound equipment.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on ultrasound procedures and results.
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of diagnostic medical sonography.
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment, as well as stand for long periods.
