Employment Type: Travel
Job Responsibilities:
The Cardiac Catheterization RN is responsible for performing angioplasties, implanting pacemakers, and diagnosing cardiac conditions through invasive catheterization procedures. Key duties include:
- Administering care for patients with heart disease and heart attack by obtaining visual diagnostics of the heart's arteries.
- Identifying blockages and assisting physicians during procedures while monitoring patient status.
- Conducting interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and related diagnostic activities.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Active RN License
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- BLS & ACLS Certifications
- A minimum of eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Cath Lab setting
