CNC Laser Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Laser Operator to join our team at Allied Reliability in the Bedford, PA area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating computer-controlled laser machines and be able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate computer-controlled laser machines to cut patterns and/or parts from sheet metal, ensuring high-quality results and meeting customer specifications.
- Remove cut components from holding fixtures and inspect for defects and completeness of cut, utilizing quality control measures to ensure accuracy.
- Perform operator Preventative Maintenance assignments to maintain machine efficiency and effectiveness.
- Adjust machine parameters as needed to ensure optimal cut quality and meet productivity goals.
- Conduct part inspections in accordance with Inspection Instructions, identifying any defects or issues that may impact product quality.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; one to three months of related experience and/or training is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write clear and concise correspondence.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees.
- Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
