About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team as a Travel CNA. This opportunity allows a CNA to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from home address providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.

Job Summary

The Travel CNA will provide assistance with basic health care needs including daily living activities that may include, but are not limited to, bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned resident.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with meals and snacks, provides water and supplements as appropriate.
  • Document resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
  • Communicate resident's changing condition and care related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
  • Provide housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational.
  • Participate in wellness and recreational programs and encourage residents to participate.
Requirements

A high school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) is preferred, but not required. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is also preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive benefits package for qualifying full-time and part-time employees, including competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, and a generous time off package. The estimated salary for this role is $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience.
