As a Mammography Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the organization's mission to make a difference in the health of our patients, loved ones, and community.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and execute mammography procedures with expert knowledge of the equipment and ability to perform procedures expertly.
- Prepare, execute, and complete procedures within the mammography environment, including proper order review, general mammography, and stereotactic biopsy.
- Provide excellent patient care and education to meet patient needs.
- Act as a liaison to radiologists for quality critique of images and perform digital mammography and other breast imaging procedures.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with all members of KH, medical staff, and community.
- CRT in Diagnostic Radiology Technology and Mammographic Radiologic Technology.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- 8 hours of training in a MQSA approved course in digital mammography.
- Preferred: ARRT license in Radiology and Mammography.
