Position Summary

As a Refrigeration HVAC Technician specializing in supermarket rack systems, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and overseeing the repair of refrigeration and HVAC equipment within our retail facilities. Your expertise in commercial HVAC and refrigeration will be essential as you utilize various tools and technologies to complete your tasks efficiently. You will lead a team to ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and guidelines, conducting inspections, repairs, and cleaning of equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of refrigeration and HVAC systems in Walmart facilities, employing commercial HVAC skills and utilizing various tools and equipment.
  • Manage work orders through the system to address repair requests from stores and document all maintenance activities.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on equipment and facilities to identify issues.
  • Complete necessary training to ensure safe operation of tools and equipment.
  • Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations by following established safety and environmental practices.
  • Be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds, climbing ladders, and working at heights regularly.

Qualifications:
