Job Title: Registered Nurse / Telemetry

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Telemetry Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Bakersfield, California. As a Telemetry Nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring and caring for patients with complex cardiac conditions, including heart failure, stroke, and COPD.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient care, utilizing high-tech equipment to perform diagnostic tests and track progress.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, including cardiac rhythms, and respond to any changes or abnormalities.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in Telemetry or a related specialty.
  • Active RN license in good standing.

Cross Country Job ID # Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
