About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Trained Medication Aide to join our team at Harmony Gardens, a 4-star rated senior living community in Maplewood, MN.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and administer medications in accordance with Harmony Gardens policies.
  • Review and follow a written care plan.
  • Measure and record vital signs, including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure, on our computerized software.
  • Assist with various resident cares, such as answering light calls, feeding, and helping residents to the bathroom.
  • Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to the supervisor.
  • Complete some work as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
  • Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements
  • Must hold a current, valid Trained Medication Aide/CNA certificate in the state of Minnesota.
  • Must have completed a minimum of 1,000 hours as a CNA.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
  • Team player with a passion for elder care and the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations.
