POSITION SUMMARY:

The Floor Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the performance of the Cornerstone Team, ensuring that Housemen maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the hotel premises. This role involves coordinating daily housekeeping functions and upholding the established housekeeping standards.

This position also entails ensuring that Room Attendants consistently deliver exceptional guest satisfaction. Regular inspections and floor walks are required to maintain quality.

FLOOR SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee the efficient operation of the assigned floor, including Housekeepers, Housemen, and Supervisors.
  • Monitor the performance of Housemen.
  • Conduct inspections of two rooms per Room Attendant.
  • Ensure carts are organized and maintained in a clean condition.
  • Assign deep cleaning tasks to team members on a daily basis.
  • Guarantee that all operations align with brand standards.
  • Coordinate special requests from guests, including VIP amenities, and communicate these to relevant team members.
  • Perform routine inspections of guest rooms to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Address guest inquiries promptly and effectively.
  • Implement lost and found procedures, emphasizing their importance.
  • Advocate for the needs of the team within the hotel.
  • Adhere to hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation, ensuring staff comprehension of these rules.
  • Assist in training new hires to meet performance standards.
  • Organize carts at the end of shifts.
  • Support the hotel housekeeping staff in maintaining brand standards.
  • Guide, direct, and motivate Cornerstone Housekeepers, setting performance expectations and monitoring outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with hotel supervisors, peers, and subordinates through various means.
  • Manage schedules based on hotel demand.
  • Contact the Cornerstone Operations Director regarding no-shows or other issues.
Preferred Qualifications for Housekeeping Supervisor:
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Requirements for Housekeeping Supervisor:
  • Availability to work as scheduled, including weekends.
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr - WEEKLY PAY

Shift requires days and weekends.
