Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical, psychological, and psychosocial dimensions to develop individualized care plans.
- Implement professional nursing services in a thorough and competent manner, adhering to standards, rules, protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Administer medications safely and efficiently, consistent with prescribed orders and established standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in training and education programs to enhance knowledge and skills in correctional nursing.
- Current, unrestricted Louisiana Registered Nursing License.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred).
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience; correctional nursing experience a plus.
