Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN to provide daily support to our unit leadership and respond to resident and family needs. The successful candidate will use their nursing skills and judgment to deliver quality direct care and make decisions promoting the safety and quality of care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily support to unit leadership and respond to resident and family needs
  • Use nursing process, judgment, and skills to deliver quality direct care and make decisions promoting the safety and quality of care
  • Perform and administer standard nursing treatments and medications, and observe residents for desired or unwanted effects
  • Communicate and collaborate with the care team to revise and update the Nursing Care Plan or any pertinent findings
  • Monitor and document vitals, treatments administered, and residents' responses
  • Prepare, organize, oversee, monitor, and evaluate the delivery of care of resident CNA assignments and activities
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing
  • Licensed and currently registered in good standing in New York as an LPN
  • Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care
  • Must possess a spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health
  • Have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills
  • Work well under pressure and willing to work harmoniously with all staff
