**Position: Artisan Chocolate Maker**
Overview:
Mostly Chocolate is on the lookout for an Artisan Chocolate Maker to enhance our dedicated production team and play a vital role in crafting premium chocolates. In this position, you will be tasked with creating delectable and aesthetically pleasing chocolates utilizing a range of techniques and ingredients. You will collaborate closely with our skilled chocolatiers to master the craft and science of chocolate production. This role demands precision, creativity, and a deep passion for the art of chocolate making. This is a full-time opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce artisanal chocolates, truffles, pralines, and various confections following established recipes and quality standards.
- Finish and decorate chocolates employing piping techniques, hand-dipping, and other methods to achieve the desired textures and visual appeal.
- Innovate new flavors and products, experimenting with diverse ingredients and techniques.
- Maintain quality control throughout the production process, including tasting and assessing finished products.
- Uphold a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Sanitize tools, utensils, and production equipment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Some experience or familiarity with culinary skills is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of chocolate types, tempering techniques, and confectionery methods.
- Ability to execute detailed designs with precision and care.
- Creative mindset and enthusiasm for experimenting with flavors and textures.
- Strong grasp of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
