The Center for Disability Services is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at the Prospect Center in Queensbury. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing quality, state-of-the-art services to individuals with disabilities and their families.
Responsibilities:- Contribute to the mission of the Center by working collaboratively with program directors and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality services to all individuals served and their families.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to individuals with complex needs.
- Provide education and training to individuals, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure best practices in speech and language therapy.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- NYS Licensure/Registration - Speech-Language Pathologists.
- NYS Teaching Certificate as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped.
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence.
- Professional experience working with individuals with developmental, physical, and neurological disorders.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
