We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Architect to join our team at 7-Eleven. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cloud-based systems using Java, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure that best engineering processes are being followed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and ensure that our systems are optimized for performance and scalability.
  • Provide technical direction and support to junior developers to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in full-stack application development using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience in relational databases, including Oracle, SQL, and ORM technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience in microservices architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) approach.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying solutions in cloud platforms, including Azure and AWS.
  • 3+ years of experience in container orchestration frameworks, including Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, including coding standards, code reviews, and source control management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
