Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Therapist III to join our team at Novant Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for making treatment and level of care decisions independently, collaborating with physician providers as needed. This autonomous provider will manage their own schedule, refer patients to a higher level of care or request consultations, and be individually credentialed with payers to bill for services. A referral is not required to initiate treatment. The Therapist will provide individual, family, group therapy, and collaborative care in the outpatient setting, completing patient assessments, planning therapeutic interventions, and implementing treatment plans. They will also demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate to the age and cultural diversity of patients served. Additionally, the Therapist will uphold and demonstrate the Novant Health Mission, Vision, and Values: Compassion, Diversity, Personal Excellence, and Team Work.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, group therapy, and collaborative care in the outpatient setting
- Complete patient assessments, plan therapeutic interventions, and implement treatment plans
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate to the age and cultural diversity of patients served
- Uphold and demonstrate the Novant Health Mission, Vision, and Values
- Collaborate with physician providers as needed
- Manage own schedule, refer patients to a higher level of care or request consultations
- Be individually credentialed with payers to bill for services
Requirements
- Graduate Degree, required
- Minimum of three years experience, required
- Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor, or Clinic Phd/PsyD level Psychologist, required
- Good working knowledge of computers
- Ability to care for Behavioral Health Age Specific populations
