Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of various mechanical and electrical systems throughout the hospital campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain stationary boilers, chillers, electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to equipment and systems
  • Test boiler water, cooling tower and closed loop systems to maintain proper balance
  • Inspect and operate life support systems, including emergency generators, medical gas systems, vacuum system and medical air
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and hospital regulations
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience as Operating Engineer
  • Steam license preferred but not required
  • Valid California Driver's License
