Respiratory Care Practitioner Per Diem

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic evaluations of normal and abnormal pulmonary conditions, administering various tests to patients, and providing accurate results to physicians.
Key Responsibilities- Administer spirometry, lung volumes, blood gas draw, and exercise testing to patients
- Perform computer data entry, patient scheduling, and administration of bronchodilators
- Assist/perform equipment calibration, quality control checks, and supply ordering and inventory
- Maintain adherence to appropriate billing and compliance issues
- Collaborate with nursing and scheduling staff to achieve patient needs
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program (AA)
- Washington State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP)
- Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Basic Life Support (BLS) via AHA
- Minimum two years relevant experience
- Bachelors degree
- Credentials from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Certified or Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT or RPFT)
