Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Description:

As a Plumbing Assistant at EWF, you will be responsible for assembling pipes, cleaning the water supply, handling tools, and maintaining a clean job site.

The Plumbing Assistant can expect to assist in complex jobs and handle smaller jobs on their own with minimal supervision.

Successful Plumbing Assistants will be well-organized and detail-oriented, able to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Locating and identifying leaks in the water system.
  • Repairing or replacing pipes and parts as needed.
  • Determining the right tools and equipment necessary to successfully complete a job.
  • Assisting with preparing cost estimates for clients.
  • Helping the Plumber to ensure that all work is in accordance with federal, state, and local plumbing codes.
  • Cleaning the job site after the work is completed.
  • Following the Plumber's orders and instructions.
