Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team at Mora Public Schools. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting students with academics, reinforcing positive behaviors, and de-escalating negative behaviors in a classroom or clerical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist students with academics and provide individualized support as needed
  • Reinforce positive behaviors and de-escalate negative behaviors in a calm and professional manner
  • Work cooperatively with classroom teachers, Special Education staff, and administration to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment
  • Perform related work as apparent or assigned, including administrative tasks and data entry
Requirements
  • Positive and flexible attitude with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team member and take direction from supervising teachers or administrators
  • Experience working with children and ability to adapt to changing situations
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or 60 semester credits preferred
