HVAC Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled HVAC Specialist to join our team at TechFlow, Inc. in Naval Air Station Patuxent River.

Job Summary:

This role involves performing maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, as well as diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues with refrigeration cycles.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, repair, and install commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with refrigeration cycles.
• Work on various types of HVAC units, including split package, residential style, and up to light commercial mini-splits, VAVs, and AHUs.
• Prepare work orders and cost materials estimates.
• Assist in training lower-level workers in mechanical repair techniques.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC maintenance, repair, installation, and operation.
• Journeyman License.
• EPA Universal Refrigeration License.
• HVAC training or equivalent.

Benefits:
