About the Job

GLOVIS America, Inc. is seeking a skilled VPC Inspector to join our team in a plant manufacturing/warehouse setting. As a VPC Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of vehicles being shipped to customers.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect new vehicle exterior features for defects and/or damages, using a Samsung tablet to input defects found on vehicles.
  • Inspect vehicles according to company guidelines and procedures, communicating effectively with customers, supervisors, and fellow peers.
  • Perform other tasks as instructed by leadership, including driving, battery testing, tire pressure, and/or throw-in (i.e. floor mats, cargo nets, cargo trays, and owner's manual) within the VPC department.
Qualifications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to use/operate a two-way radio.
  • Ability to record and verify numbers 17 characters in length (VIN).
  • Ability to drive both automatic.
Working and Environmental Conditions
  • Exposure to loud noises from vehicles and heavy machinery.
  • Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
  • Exposure to gasoline/fumes.
