About the Role

Lionakis is seeking an experienced Architect to join our Civic, Education, and Healthcare teams in our Orange County office. As an Architect at Lionakis, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from civic and educational facilities to healthcare institutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Development: Develop and coordinate drawings and specifications, manage consultant coordination of projects, and participate in all phases of the design process.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with project leads to develop solutions for design problems, including program compliance, code compliance, and agency interface.
  • Project Management: Prepare and adhere to project management plans by coordinating with the project team for completion of tasks consistent with project timelines and budgets.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical oversight and coordination of project activities, including construction administration, with clients, consultants, contractors, and staff.
  • Code Review: Complete and keep code review and analysis through the completion of the projects.
  • Scope Management: Advise project leads of potential client and consultant requested changes to scope of work; identify cause and effect to project budget and schedule on larger projects.
  • Quality Control: Follow established standards for design, quality control, and production. Aid or take part in quality control reviews.
  • Marketing Support: Assist in the development of materials to support design and marketing efforts.
  • Time Management: Exhibit excellent time management and organizational skills by completing tasks accurately and on schedule.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years architectural project experience.
  • Licensure: Licensed Architect in the U.S. (California preferred).
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient with BIM/Revit software programs, MS Office Suite, Bluebeam.
Preferred Qualifications
  • LEED Accreditation: LEED accreditation is a plus.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $85,100-$128,800 annually, with compensation and level determined by experience.
