Job Summary

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. Your responsibilities will include managing pharmacy workstations, processing prescriptions, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's ability to promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions.
• Process prescriptions, including counting and labeling medications, and preparing prescriptions for dispensing.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
• Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and prescription data.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Licensure requirements vary by state.
• Attention and focus to detail are essential for this role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
• Mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills are necessary for processing prescriptions and managing inventory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• PTCB National Certification.

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $18.20 - $24.00 per hour. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
