Job Title: Occupational Therapist

SSM Health Day Institute is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in our specialized outpatient rehabilitation program.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate therapist to work with patients who require rehabilitation services after a traumatic injury or illness. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for implementing high-quality physical therapy services, developing treatment plans, and providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and with outpatient policies and procedures.
  • Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.
  • Maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients.
  • Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
  • Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Therapist required.
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
