Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and disassembling commercial ware washing equipment and chemical dispensing equipment using hand and power tools. Additionally, they will be responsible for cleaning used machines, inspecting components, and performing quality control checks.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble, repair, and disassemble commercial ware washing equipment and chemical dispensing equipment.
- Clean used machines using high-pressure sprayers, sand blasters, and chemical dip tanks.
- Inspect used components and decide if parts are usable.
- Perform quality control checks as instructed.
- Complete paperwork associated with production reporting.
- Perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and organized environment.
- Follow safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Participate in meetings and provide input for safety, production, and process improvements.
- Train other employees as needed on tasks as directed by supervisor.
- Communicate with other employees regarding production needs and problem resolution.
- Move parts and materials around the facility using various means.
- Perform inventory counts.
- Report accidents and near misses.
