Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team at The Doctor Is In / CHC. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately check in and check out patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience
• Verify patient demographic and insurance information, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Collect co-payments and issue receipts for patient visits
• Scan medical documents and office forms as directed
• Schedule appointments and manage patient schedules
• Ensure a positive and professional atmosphere as a team player
• Understand and follow all HIPAA privacy and security rules

Requirements:

• Experience in a medical office setting, preferably with NextGen EHR
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• Reliability and flexibility, with a willingness to work rotating weekends and two holidays per year
