The General Maintenance Mechanic will perform general maintenance as directed and as necessary on all aspects of building structure and systems, including floors, walls, ceilings, lighting, HVAC, transportation systems, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other items.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform general maintenance tasks as directed and as necessary on all aspects of building structure and systems.
  • Work in the air conditioning shop and perform tasks related to HVAC systems.
  • Have a positive attitude, be willing and eager to learn, and be trainable.
  • Have a high work ethic, be dependable, reliable, team-oriented, and have patience, compassion, and understanding of working in a hospital environment around patients.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • One year of work experience in general maintenance, such as facility or residential maintenance, contractor, carpentry, laborer, or painter.
  • Valid and Current Driver's License.
  • Refrigerant Recovery certification Type I and Type II preferred or Universal preferred.
