About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team as a Hospice Care Specialist. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals in need of hospice services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals, assist with feeding, and perform homemaking and other environmental services as assigned.
  • Observe, report, and document any changes in patient status, and follow specific written instructions for personal care prepared by a registered nurse in accordance with the plan of care.
  • Assist patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse or therapist, and perform and record simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant as per state certification/registration requirements.
  • CNA experience within the last two years. If it has been more than two years, you must complete another training and competency program before providing services.
  • Must be able to successfully pass the competency program of the care center.
  • Current CPR certification.
