Job Summary

Touro University New York is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Preclinical Faculty member to join our team. As a Preclinical Faculty, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Basic Sciences and Preclinical Education dental courses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Mentoring: Deliver high-quality lectures and presentations, and provide individualized support to students in the Sim Lab.
  • Course Administration: Assist in the development and implementation of course syllabi, calibration materials, and assessments.
  • Student Support: Monitor student progress, identify areas of difficulty, and provide additional support as needed.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Assist in the administration and grading of quizzes, exams, and lab summative exams.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with developments in the field and pursue opportunities for professional growth and development.
Qualifications
  • Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Medical Dentistry required.
  • Certifications: CPR Certification required.
  • Licenses: Dental License Registration and DEA Number required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty, and colleagues.
  • Interpersonal Competency: High degree of professionalism, diplomacy, judgment, and discretion.

Compensation

Maximum Salary: USD $70,000.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary: USD $56,000.00/Yr.
