5:45 am - 10:00 pm
Candidates must work 2 consecutive 16-hour weekend shifts to qualify for Baylor Pay.
Benefits and Perks of Certified Medication Technician (CMT):
- $1,500 sign-on bonus for full-time qualifying candidates
- Baylor Pay - work 32 hours but receive pay for 40

Essential Functions of Certified Medication Technician (CMT):
- Perform resident care responsibilities ensuring their safety and comfort in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures as well as state/federal guidelines and regulations.
- Administer medications as prescribed by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, adhering to state and federal regulations and center policy.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the "five rights" of medication administration.
- Administer and document all medications given to residents based on their specific chart.
- Notify appropriate licensed staff when a resident expresses discomfort.
- May take and record vital signs of residents as assigned or required by certain medications.
- Accurately record the administration of medications and/or treatments using the computer system to enter and reference resident information as needed.
- Respond to resident call lights, anticipate residents' needs, and make rounds to assigned residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse or charge nurse on the shift.
- Observe and report any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
- Perform all aspects of resident care in an environment that prioritizes resident safety and minimizes the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
- Support and maintain a culture of safety and quality.
- Administer PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with center policy.
- Report and, when appropriate, document any changes observed in the condition or behavior of residents and unusual incidents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications of Certified Medication Technician (CMT):
- High School diploma or general equivalency is preferred.
- Six months of experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
- Required valid certification as a CMT in the state of Oklahoma.
- Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
- Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, their family members, and facility staff.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
