- Monitor Performance and Provide Feedback: Regularly assess and evaluate the performance of detail technicians, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve skills and address behavioral issues.
- Train and Develop Team Members: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of detail technicians, ensuring they have the necessary tools to excel in their roles.
- Maintain a Safe and Efficient Work Environment: Ensure the shop area is safe, organized, and free from hazards, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Assess and Evaluate Team Members: Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the training, skills, and abilities of detail technicians, identifying areas for improvement and development.
- Coordinate Training and Development: Work with the service consultant and service manager to chart the performance of detail technicians, identifying areas for improvement and development.
- Maintain Absence Schedules: Coordinate and maintain schedules for detail technicians' absences, ensuring proper staffing to meet work demands.
- Conduct Team Meetings: Lead regular team meetings to discuss prior day performance, review work assignments, and address any concerns or issues.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license.
- Driving Ability: Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Supervisory Experience: Two or more years of supervisory experience (preferred).
This role starts at $25.00 per hour. The expected annual salary is between $34.76, dependent on each candidate's unique experience and qualifications.
