About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Farrell, Pennsylvania. As a Rad Tech, you will be responsible for operating diagnostic imaging equipment and ensuring that images are accurate and interpreted by physicians.
Job Description
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
- Follow orders from Physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging
- Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to appropriate position
- Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to yourself and to patient by taking appropriate protection precautions
- Calibrate imaging equipment
- Prepare results for Physician to review
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have 1 year of experience and hold BLS, ARRT (R) National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required. You should also be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.

Estimated Salary: $55-$75 per hour based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week, plus tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Based on location and experience.
