Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse - Local Contract. This is a per diem opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines to provide well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely and effective care.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team to ensure a smooth transition.
- EOW, EOH; Telemetry background required.
- At least 1.5 years of med/surg experience.
- No artificial/acrylic nails and nails must be short.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong technical skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Passionate about patient care.
