Job Summary

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment, producing high-quality images, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate all routine radiographic equipment safely and proficiently
  • Produce high-quality radiographs with a minimum of repeats
  • Handle multiple room assignments and different types of exams on a daily basis
  • Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions
  • Oversee duties assigned to student radiographers
  • Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA
  • Registered or registry eligible with the ARRT
  • Basic Life Support certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous X-Ray Tech experience
