Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Drive daily schedule attainment and effectively allocate resources to meet production goals.
  • Problem-Solving: Define problems, collect qualitative and quantitative data to establish facts, and take decisive action to resolve issues.
  • Performance Monitoring: Actively monitor, evaluate, and report performance daily using Shop Floor Management Tools from World Class Manufacturing.
  • Shift Management: Take full ownership of shift and performance reporting management, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Training and Development: Evaluate and coordinate training needs and initiatives of the team to drive continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Work closely with Engineering and Maintenance to improve and document production processes and equipment operation.
  • Coaching and Guidance: Provide coaching and guidance as required, and execute consistent documentation within the corrective action process.
  • Record Procedures: Improve record procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and ISO requirements.
  • Compliance: Learn, understand, and communicate compliance issues related to company guidelines.
  • Project Participation: Participate on projects and process improvements to drive change and improve results.
  • Leadership Approach: Demonstrate a hands-on leadership approach to identifying, resolving, and communicating resolution of issues across the plant.
  • Employee Development: Coach, develop, and train employees to achieve their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Language: Bi-lingual in Spanish required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory role.
  • Skills: Ability to work overtime as needed, computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, ADP/SAP is a plus.
  • Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze and interpret product specifications, production schedules, quality documentation, and other process/performance documentation in English.
  • Communication: Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions, and interact with employees, managers, and peers.
  • Quality Framework: Experience operating within quality framework such as ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ISO 18000.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Experience with lean manufacturing and Visual Shop Floor Management, handling and prioritizing multiple tasks at the same time.
