We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Overnight Nurse to join our team at First City Recovery Centers LLC. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues.
Responsibilities:- Deliver client-centered care under the supervision of the Medical Director, Charge Nurse, and Program Director.
- Work collaboratively with a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) and a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to ensure seamless patient care.
- Complete necessary documentation within 24 hours of patient admission, including Admission Note, Nursing Assessment, Pre-Screen Testing, HRS Consent Form, Patient Health Examination, and Criteria for Admission Form (if Detox admit).
- Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, perform various tasks, including ensuring patient confidentiality, maintaining therapeutic rapport, and staying up-to-date with training in CPR, First Aid, Crisis Intervention, Infection Control, Fire Safety, and other mandated areas.
- Communicate effectively with other staff members and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
- Licensed to practice nursing in the appropriate state and maintaining current licensure per state requirements.
- Current CPR certification.
- Detoxification experience preferred.
- Background check and TB test administration and reading certification.
