Job Description

At West Point Community Living Center, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide direct non-professional patient/resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular direct care rounds on assigned units to monitor activity and ensure residents' needs are met, including assisting with activities of daily living.
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents/patients.
  • Notify Charge Nurse and/or RN supervisor of any resident/patient change in condition.
  • Obtain vital signs, weights, and heights as instructed by the Charge Nurse.
  • Complete all assigned duties and documentation.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Provide light housekeeping in resident rooms and general areas.
  • Properly store equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure Infection Prevention and Control practices.
  • Report hazardous conditions, incidents, and accidents to the Charge Nurse/RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing, and/or Administrator.
