Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hospice and Palliative Care Physician to join our team at Alive Hospice. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, developing and implementing clinical programs, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical leadership and direction to our hospice and palliative care programs
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Provide education and training to our staff on palliative care and hospice services
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in palliative care and hospice services, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy from an accredited medical school
  • Current unrestricted medical license in the State of Tennessee
  • Board eligible in Palliative Care
  • Minimum of four years of medical experience, preferably in hospice and palliative care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
