Job Summary:

The Press Trainee will provide support to the Lead Pressman in fulfilling the duties required of the position. This includes assisting with Preventive Maintenance (PM) and helping to control Print Quality, Waste Management, and Safety. The Press Trainee will work under the guidance of the company and provide input for troubleshooting and make recommendations to correct problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform maintenance as trained and instructed.
  • Assist with roll tending, color setting, folder operation, stack down, and plate making.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a work environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Work flexible shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Desired Attributes:

  • Mechanical ability and troubleshooting skills.
