Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious CDL Driver to operate a rear-load, split body, curotto, or automated-side load truck along designated routes to collect waste and take it to post-collection facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Collect waste and recyclables from customers' properties, ensuring proper loading and securing of materials.
  • Operate mechanical packer to load and compact trash from hopper into the truck body.
  • Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, completing and submitting a vehicle condition report at the end of the shift.
  • Interact with customers and/or the general public along the route to answer questions or respond to requests.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including lock out/tag out procedures.
Requirements:
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • At least one year of commercial driving experience or a CDL school certificate.
  • Ability to meet relevant criteria for safety-sensitive functions according to Company standards.
  • Ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment.
Working Conditions:
  • Work in outdoor environments, frequently exposed to loud noise, humidity, and extreme weather conditions.
  • Work in motor vehicle traffic conditions constantly.
  • Occasionally work in high-pitched places.
