Job Summary

The LVN Manager is a critical role within the nursing department at Telecare Corporation. This position requires a skilled and compassionate individual to oversee the implementation and supervision of assigned positions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides program planning, development, review, and assessment of clinical and administrative activities
  • Directs, coordinates, and supervises a multidisciplinary team, assigning staff to work with clients based on their individual needs and the skills and strengths of team members
  • Provides recovery-focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment, as prescribed by the physician
  • Establishes and maintains a therapeutic relationship with members served, providing nursing care and assisting in the welcoming, admissions, and discharge processes
  • Collects data relevant to the care of members served, develops and implements care plans, and demonstrates knowledge of crisis management and intervention
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited LVN or LPT program and current licensure
  • Current CPR/BLS certificate
  • Two years of LVN/LPT/LPN experience in a healthcare environment
  • One year of supervisory experience or completion of Telecare assigned Supervisory training within 12 months
  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification on date of employment or within 60 days of employment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with the population to be served and/or in a similar program setting
  • Understanding of psychiatric illness and its treatment, and knowledge of psychotropic medication
Working Conditions

The LVN Manager position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, making sound judgments and decisions in a timely manner. The position also requires the ability to transport members in a program vehicle, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
